Madra Rua play a mix of Irish/Celtic music and have been described in the Irish World newspaper as "the most sought after band on the Celtic music scene today". Fronted by singer/songwriter Jim Fox the band consists of a pool of musicians playing a range of instruments from guitar to bodhran, mandolin to fiddle, banjo to whistle.
