FENG SHUI is the production remix dj cut-and-paste musica-making duo of anne pope and toon, whose creations have been serving the community since the mummies began singing it. they have released three critically acclaimed mixtapes on LUNCHBOX RECORDINGS, and their debut single, L'OMBRA NON SOSTANZA, was selected as best mix in the INFLUX MIXOFF 4. feng shui recently remixed A SONG FOR ALL CYBERCHILDREN for the band AVENGING SPACE on DDRECORDS out of amsterdam. the remix has been rated #1 downtempo track on electronicscene.com, and is getting airplay at knotradio.org. both l'ombra non sostanza and a song for all cyberchildren are featured on the just-released cd compilation WOOD: CHOICE CUTS available on TAR MEDIA /DDRECORDS (CANADA / HOLLAND). the duo also contributed two songs to OCTAVES BEYOND SILENCE, a benefit cd to help end violence against women; their track THIS PASSAGE was featured on the OPRAH WINFREY SHOW, OXYGEN, and the upcoming WITNESS project, RISE. the octaves cd also offers tracks by ME'SHELL NDEGEOCELLO, ANI DIFRANCO, the INDIGO GIRLS, and EVE ENSLER (from THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES), amongst others.
