The name 'Levente' hides a Hungarian-born synth composer, combining medieval music flavours, ethnic (Hungarian and Oriental) elements, orchestral passages with electronics.The music has always been programmatic, each released album depicting for example, the ambience of inspiring places, the moods of favourite books (e.g. the album Ex Libris) or ventured into distant musical worlds (on the album 'Tales From Time' featuring medieval-style music and Far-Eastern influences combined with synth atmospherics)...A very 'visual' music that is a response to a wide variety of inspirational sources, and ranges from medieval bard songs through electronic ambiences to epic tableaus. |
