About:
|
MAXFIELD a london based band playing the most unique sound of music not heard on these shores for a long time. A blend of Anthemic Psychedelic Rock/Tripsoul/Gritty Skeletal funk best describes this band, with vocals that draw you in and spit you out with every story the song tells. UNIQUE. . As one reviewer said: This band has a touch of Nirvanaesque going on, sprinkled with Lenny Kravits Meet Red Hot Chilli Peppers and oozing Asian Dub Foundation but with a female attitude IT ROCKS **** ' |

MAXFIELD formed in 2003 when Singer/Songwriter Valerie Maxfield teamed up with Julian Chown producer/composer and laid the foundations. With later additions of Mark on guitars, Wojtek Krol on bass and Clive Jenner on Drums, MAXFIELD was born. MAXFIELD have steadfastly gone from strength to strength from their debut gig at The Native Tongue, in Ealing, UK 2006, to present date, raking up a storm across the circuit with their LIVE shows. Leaving their dynamic and enigmatic imprint behind. You can HEAR tracks from their forthcoming debut EP 'So IS WHAT' at www.clashuk.com/cometomaxfield. There’s something for everyone is on this album. With radio airplay now giving way to MAXFIELD, like Vic McGlyn on Radio BBC 6 and Pulse Rated Radio etc, it’s only time before the word gets out about the new band on the block. MAXFIELD - Check them out see what the fuss is about.
