About:  Originally formed to play for his sisters weddings, Vaughan Jones founded Manor House Music in 2003 by picking the very best classical string players he had met during his career as an orchestral musician. Their aim was to play upbeat, funky pop and rock tunes alongside the usual full classical repertoire. All highly experienced chamber musicians, the Manor House String Quartet are able to give a high quality recital, or play music which is usually outside the repertoire of most string quartets. By working carefully from the original track, the quartet have created a library of unique pop and rock arrangements which are lively, entertaining and authentic. Clients are encouraged to have their favourite piece of music especially arranged for the event or choose from one of the largest and most varied repertoires of any quartet on the web. Whether you'd like a virtuoso classical performance, a string quartet tribute to the 1970's or high energy rock brought to life on antique instruments, we do our best to accomodate your needs. Available for corporate functions, recording sessions, weddings, parties, television and film work. We are happy to take care of everything from arranging the music for strings to a highly polished, professional performance. Solo violin or string duo also available.
