Hello all,
Firstly I hope this finds everyone well. I am writing this because of concerns from one or two people wishing to be involved. Addressing the subject of finance. At present we have no finance whatsoever in place, but rest assured we are working on this. But saying that, everyone agreed to participate to a non-funded project anyway.
This project and the success of the finished product relies 200 on everyone that takes part. This is a trust issue. I trust all the information I have received from everyone is correct, and that the skills offered, WILL be provided. I am aware of those that have had no previous experience in the business, as they have been open and honest about this, I have no problems with it.
This project came about because of the lack of opportunities our country is offering, due to the abundence of Reality TV shows and Karaoke bars - both money and work is being taken away from us, so this is showcase of all our talents to prove both our skills, dedication and value to the industry. So anyone wanting to take part in this, I for one, am not going to say no (unless of course they're criminals as I will, with police help, be running checks to assure this doesn't happen).
Those of you I have requested take on a certain role? This has been done because of the image I want to portray onscreen, the look of a character is just as important as the acting of one. So those of you with no experience and been offered a part with no audition don't worry. Those particular characters in question have been written simply, with not a lot of acting skills required. This is because I want the scenes to be played as naturally as possible.
The parts of the band, their familes and agents have already been cast. Because of the huge involvement of these characters, I am using local actors. This is mainly due to cut costs, as I hope you'll both agree and understand - with it being non-funded, it will be a cost payable to the actors where travel and accommodation is concerned. So local was a necessity on that side.
