Guy, I'm so with you.. name this idiots, that try to take advantage of this profession's vulnerability- my policy is to NEVER pay an agency upfront- even though I know that in some cases it may be justified to pay a small fee. I guess as artists we have to be very alert as there's always a con artist out there ready to try and con you (or us).
