Hi all, We are Always Thinking Films a student production company based at Lincoln University. We are currently in pre production for our 3rd year graduation film. The film will be 12-15 mins in length, and is intended for distribution on the festival circuit as well as Internet websites after university. The story will be one with a simple message about the validity of Love. This will be clouded in chaos and distraction, just like love itself. The piece will aim to portray the un-definable way the mind works and this will be expressed through the use of quirky and untraditional dialogue while also bombarding the viewer with visual stimulus. It will revolve around one mans journey in a hairdressers he stumbles upon and how he leaves a changed person. We are looking to cast for roles. Each of the roles is crucial in the film. We are looking to cast from the local areas as much as possibe, so if you are located in the East Midlands and Lincolshire, this would be great... Cam- 20-30 yrs old. Has problems trusting his own judgement. He is never really sure what he wants and would rather go along with a suggestion than make one himself. He's a thinker and a worrier, concerned with how he's is perceived and if he is doing the right thing. Decent, considered and pensive. Duke- 40 + Overly confident and isn't afraid to say what is on his mind. Likes to shock people and enjoys seeing others in distress. he has a deep bond with Leslie. Leslie- 40 + The more sedate and inverted of the two. Deep thinker and deeply emotional, he wants what is best for all people and sometimes doesn't like the way duke goes about their joint tasks. We will be filming from about the 10th April 2004 - 17th April. The actors will be needed for 3 days during this period. We will fix firm dates with the final cast. The shoot will be taking place in Lincoln, and will be shot on DV and edited on AVID. Unfortunately due to this being a student production we are unable to offer payment for this film, but we will pay for most if not all expenses. Accommodation and food will be provided.
