Hello. I'm based near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. The reason I'm posting this message is because I'm looking for actors and crew in my area. Since leaving uni I've done the odd thing here and there but nothing major and I've done the awful thing of settling for a badly paid 9 - 5 job with the NHS. I'm hoping that people in a similar situation will contact me so we can motivate each other and get our showreels etc up to date. Maybe even do some paid work together. There is little opportunity in Nottinghamshire and I have spoken to other crew/actors from around Notts that feel the same and have become demotivated. It'd be great if we could organise screenings, tutorials and meetings etc , the sort London has to offer but Nottinghamshire doesn't.
