God these stories are awful! It is hard enough surviving and paying the bills in this industry without people exploiting your desire to achieve your goals and do well in it! I reckon these people need to be reported to the BBC show watchdog, it would really appeal to them. I wouldn't have a clue how to contact them but something should be done about them. You are all totally right, what reputable agency is going to make you pay upfront? Certainly not one that believes in your abilities and earning potential. Well done for pointing them out to us!
