I kind of agree with regard to students but when it comes to independents - that's a different matter. Mind you, I signed an agreement for an indie feature and was promised half my money by January and the rest when the film was completed along with a dvd. This has been put back and back. The last I was told was that it would be finished by 14 October. I was also told that there are a number of distributers out there very interested in it. Well, nothing yet and I really am not holding my breath. It was fun to do but, as with a lot of film experiences, the aftermath is not such fun. Cheers Antoinnette
