Oak Tree Films is producing a short film on Super 16mm in East Yorkshire on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of October. We are an independent, UK based film company who produce short and feature length films. The film is based on true events that took place prior to and during World War I. A young infantryman, John Turner, sits in a British trench in Flanders waiting to go over the top and tells the tale of how a year previous and only months prior to June 1914, he nearly killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand in a shooting accident during a pheasant shoot on a country estate in the heart of England.
