Fair enough Gabrielle, I understand the concept behind the evening and wish you much luck with it, but I'm afraid I still find the idea of winning a role, and a director casting someone who has 'won' a role a little vulgar that's all. However, as forbes has said, it may well be that it's a way to rasie profile and sell tickets which is fair do's I guess. Though I worry for you who you might get turning up on that basis!
