JANE:: playing age 24+, she is young, attractive and rebellious English woman with a difficult love life and a financial crisis.
AMIR: playing age 25+, he is Mediterranean, oriental looking. He is not stereotypically handsome and dresses scruffy llike a student.
ALAN: playing age 24+, Jane's boyfriend, alert and down to earth.
AMINA: playing age 25+, she is oriental or Mediterranean looking young woman, attractive and strong in character.
MARK: playing age 8+, intelligent, inquisitive with much curiosity about the world of the grown ups.
DIANA: playing age 8+, Mark's best friend and accomplice, courageous and opinionated.
LINDA: playing age 40+, she is a British woman, into new age and Tarot and facing a serious emotional problem.
JOHN: playing age 40+, Linda's husband, determinate, affectionate and protective but with a serious drinking problem.
ALFRED: playing age 60+, Wise and tried, like to tell stories of his days in the war. He is disullsioned with his alcoolic, racist son.
GAYEL: playing age 60+, Alfred's wife, slightly eccentric, quirky, smart appearance.
ZENA: playing age 23+, she is a young Afro-Carribean woman, following her divorce she undergoes a strong emotional test and tries to make a fresh start.
IGE: playing age 25+, Zena's ex, Afro-Caribbean, intelligent and no-nonesense journalist for a local paper.
