Now I am really confused. You say you are a Casting Director doing this charity job for free because the client is going to give you paid work in the future??? Who is paying you - now or in the future? The fact that the charity is working in the field of child abuse is irrelevant. NHC, NSPCC and Childline work in that field and they pay professional actors for their film promotions. The nature of the charity work is not the issue here. Actors are not charities, they make a living from their craft and should be paid for their time and talent. The charity is a client. End of. This is clearly a subject for a hot debate. Bring it on.
