Oh dear - not another one! I blame reality TV for a lot of this - loads of 'wannabe famous' people (whether for themselves or their offspring) seem to be willing to pay money for the chance to shine for 15 mins (rapidly changing to 15 seconds!) The thing is - they don't seem to want to be famous for anything in particular - just famous! What's that all about eh? Also, please actors, think twice about doing work for nothing - it's a long and contentious debate but ultimately, if you sell yourself short - then so will others. I'm not talking about student films - although they too should be told about budgeting realistically for their projects at the outset of their studentship and that budgeting includes actors.
