Shabby, shabby, shabby

Is anyone else really fed up with the atrocious money being offered by people? £150 for a day's work may sound okay but if you think about it - how long is that piece of your talent going to be used for? How much money will that piece of video make for its makers - either in money paid to make it or in benefits from advertising.
So many just now not even offering a buyout.
The makers may indeed have a low budget and in that case, it would be really nice to have an explanation as to why so little money is being offered. But some of the film makers are doing these things for top of the range companies - like Nokia, Nike, Baileys etc. It's really bad and every job that someone does for a pittance is an other nail in the coffin of pursuing acting as a career.
Please think twice about accepting very low pay - or at least be told and have it put in writing the reasons why.
Wishing everyone a good day and a prosperous future :-))
