Hi Dave, My name is Napoleon Ryan. Regarding showreels, make it no more than 3 minutes. Have several scenes or extracts from longer scenes edited together. Don't worry about montage (lots of little clips of yourself over music) as people would rather see that you can sustain your acting during a scene. Each scene chunk should imply through your performance and the visuals what kind of character type you are, you can play and what emotions you can convey.
