Up-Front Westminster Debate - Part
The 'Round Table' meeting went very well on Tuesday, it was a lively and friendly affair; and towards the end of the meeting - they started to assimilate some fresh ideas on the subject.
The results of the meeting will be investigated and it is hoped that in a couple of weeks time shadow minister Mark Prisk will draft the results of his findings and invite comments from those who attended the meeting; for their feedback - on their feasibility, in the real world.
Everyone agreed that we have to stop tinkering and put in place a permanent solution; which will work; which will stop most of the current scams.
Nothing can be fair to everyone, but these new regulations must be fair to most performers; and would be performers.
Those work-seeking services that provide little or no work; and rely mostly on up-front fees; as their major source of income; will be put out of business!
Caveat emptor = buyer beware!
Caveat actor = scam agency beware!
