Honest Man – Honest woman?
Oooerrr... Paul Daniels is jumping up and down over the Mail article...
This is what he said:
"Firstly thank you to all those who wrote and phoned about the disgusting 'journalism' in the Mail. We have had calls from all aspects of show business and the public and obviously the Mail have diminished their readership. The writer must be a sad sad woman and I feel a bit sorry for her. I also feel so sorry for the little girl being dragged into the public eye by her mother. Hey ho... yesterday's fish and chip paper... although during the Second World War the best use for newspapers was recycling them as toilet paper."
He also said:
"As I predicted, the Mail had a go with so many untruths and distortions in a large article. In simple truth, because I don't want to give them much space, I am an honest man. Debbie is an honest woman. We try to live our lives not hurting others and helping them wherever we can. That is not boasting, it is just a simple answer to what the Mail is implying. They lie. We don't. As for the nonsense of why we sell all kinds of stuff on ebay... it's fun and it is clearing out bits and pieces we have not used for at least two years. What else can we do with it and I thought re-cycling was a good thing."
Did you notice everybody else is wrong; except them? Well if they are sooo honest why didn't they give the little ten year old her £125 back; or is that being tooo kind???
I like it; but not a lot!
