This is a post looking for two more people to become involved in a new street / interactive theatre group in Devon, on a profit share basis. We intend to do some shows, especially initially, for free (charity) in order to get ourselves "known about" locally, but by the end of the summer hope to be doing profit share shows. Each person involved getting equal share of the profits. That could, by the nature of the thing be anything from pennies upwards, I cannot make guarantees. Rehearsals will take place generally in Brixham. This is a new project that three of us (so far) are attempting to get off the ground.
Interested applicants need to be aged 16-plus, preferably over 18, have a background in stage or LARP combat, and good acting and improv skills. Enthusiasm, and reliability are essential. If shortlisted, you will be invited to an informal meeting at the end of March in Brixham.
The group will be specialising in a fantasy setting - think Lord Of the Rings, or Dungeons And Dragons, that type of thing, performing both street theatre and indoors venues. Due to the interactive nature of the projects, improv skills are a must.
