New Production Company, is in the pre-production stage of a new short (20 mins long) and is looking for two male actors.
The film, LOK, deals with the concept of guilt andisolation. Frankie suffers from OCD, out of choice. In his desire to banish the memories of his immoral actions, he constructs a mindset that defers his attention from them. Alone and drug addled, Frankie is a product of a marriage between unrestrained desire and uncapped repression.
Leo, is an insecure man, profoundly loved and in love with Carrie. When he discovers that Carrie has been raped by Frankie, Leo is unable to channel and direct his love for her. Instead of being caring and understanding, he becomes self involved, as though she has cheated on him, and this causes him personal dicomfort and humiliation. For her part, Carrie feels a strong sense of guilt, for what has happened, and her isolation is compounded by Leos failure to accept his role of lover.
