10 places at half price have been made available on the next three 5-day ‘Alchemy of Screen Acting’ workshops to encourage trained actors with little or no screen experience to access the necessary professional experience and training in front of camera to launch a screen career. To qualify for the special rate of GBP250 (inc. VAT), rather than the full fee of GBP500 (inc. VAT), you must be a member of UK Screen, have undergone professional acting training and be fully committed to getting screen work. Only 10 places are available at half price on this special scheme (3 remaining) and they will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Bookings must be made by next Monday (31 March 2008). Thereafter the full fee applies. The workshop is very intensive and consists of shooting both TV and feature film scenes (to broadcast standard), overnight editing, tuition in successful audition and marketing strategies, copious handouts and a fine cut on DVD of all scenes shot (which can be used on a professional showreel). Workshops strictly limited to 10 actors. Scheduled Spring workshop dates are: Alchemy 72: 14-18 April Alchemy 73: 12-16 May Alchemy 74: 9-13 June All workshops take place in Central London and run from 9-6, Monday-Friday.
