FINAL CALL: HOW TO SELL YOURSELF AS A SCREEN ACTOR

Posted By:  Macheath Productions  [Click to Contact]
Date: 2008-04-03

Saturday 5 April, 10.30-17.30hrs, Central London (THIS SATURDAY!)
Seminar covering the most effective way for actors with little or no screen experience to market themselves for TV/film work. Detailed analysis of vital marketing tools, including showreels: why most fail, and how to put together one which will attract interest from agents and casting directors. How to get the right screen agent. How to find screen work, even without an agent. How to network effectively and make players want to talk to you. Cultivating the right mental attitude.
This one-day session will be crammed full of practical information and showreel screenings. Recording devices are not permitted and so it’s advisable to bring something to write with and on.
Andrew Higgs is an experienced television director. He has run the acclaimed ‘Alchemy of Screen Acting’ workshops for the past five years whilst developing a number of upcoming film projects.
