I did have a look at your website and obviously you feel the government has alot to blame for all these scams. I certainly dont trust the government and have no sympathy for them. The problem is, however, if people are stupid enough to be duped into paying fees for a promising celebrity lifestyle, then you cant honestly blame these 'cowboy' agencies to get away with it. In any entertainment profession, whether it be a singer, dancer, actor or cabaret artist, it is up to the individual to be able to sell themselves - any new artist who pays a fee and expecting representation will be in for a huge disappointment. As soon as you have established yourself, then and only then, will agencies will approach you and then it is between yourself and the agent to discuss percentage fees - under no circumstances do you every pay for representation. My advice would be to purchase Spotlights Contacts 2008 for genuine representation.
