The Constant Replica DVD Magazine, is in need of Camera Ops (with own equipment) to film bands/shoot interviews. If this sounds like something you'd like to be involved in - let me know matt constant replica is a quarterly-released dvd - that is in the format of a magazine; with non-cut interviews, live performances, studio footage, features, etc - basically designed with the intention of 'promoting' (for want of a better word!) bands to people who wouldn't usually know about them Having played in bands for the last 10 yrs or so & I have noticed there's a ton of unsigned bands, bands on small labels & bands on bigger labels (that don't get any press) that people don't hear about without actually going to see them We want this to be somewhere people can see bands 1st off/get the joy of discovering some of the best bands out there & this will lead to (hopefully) them going to more gigs/buying records, etc the thing i'm sure we've all noticed is that while rock/indie print mags are great - written reviews don't give you a definite idea of what a band is like or what you'll be getting when you see them - especially where you have a lot of people who may only be able to see a certain amount of gigs due to money/other reasons, they may not be inclined to see bands that they've just been recommended in print, the majority of people go and see bands they know they are gonna like...this way, they can be sure In short-its all about the bands; no strings. bands already covered include: hell is for heroes/21gunsalute/TEAM/the sound explosion/bullet union/part chimp/these arms are snakes/jecano/the grates/blood red shoes bands to be featured include: navajo code, rat;att;agg, silent front, meet me in st louis, trencher, todd, dobermann, mystery meat, dead kids, an emergency, fight fire with water planes mistaken for stars, bullet train to vegas, the tommy's, god.fires.man, jetplane landing, no hope astronaut, tired irie
