The Young Persons' Theatre Company is a training theatre and film company for young people aged 18 to 25. We have staged three theatre productions and made two short films since our inception in 2003 and our work has attracted artists such as Sir Derek Jacobi and John Hurt as well as drawing the attention of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the BBC and ITV. We are now looking for a video animator to come on board to create graphics sequences for use in a promotional trailer and to be projected as part of the stage show of our next production, 'Flamingo Blues', a new play, set in the Chicago of 1952 and based around the ideas of film noir. The filming will be for a music video and trailer to promote the stage production at the Unicorn Theatre in July this year, but we will also be creating graphoc sequences which will be used in projections for that production. The sequences will be based around newspaper headlines and will dark and moody, in the best noir tradition!, and will provide great creative opportunities. We can offer expenses and food as well as a copy of the dvd and the chance to work with a vibrant and exciting young company and a fantastic new production. Please contact vicky@yptc.co.uk.
