Silly Wee Films and Kenkai Productions are currently in pre-production of the 2nd series of our web sci-fi drama "Night is Day". Our first series was made with no funding or support and we managed to film 6 episodes at the weekends and it took 9 months to film. The first series has been featured in The Sun, The Evening Times, BBC Radio Cafe and other various online websites and most recently we were featured in the January edition of SFX magazine (issue 165). Series 2 will start filming in Glasgow in May all going well and we will film every second weekend until we complete filming all 6 episodes. We will provide food and where possible, travel. You will get your travelling expenses back once the project is complete as long as you provide receipts. We need enthusiastic, creative, friendly and hardworking people to help us produce this second series and who will join our returning production team. We are looking for people based in Scotland. We need the following crew members to join our team:- Camera Operator with their own equipment - you must have film experience and a show-reel to send us or examples of your work that we can see. You will work closely with the director when planning the shots and you will have input into how the series will be shot. If you have lighting equipment this would be beneficial. Lighting Operator/DOP - we're looking for someone who uses their enviornment to help light the scene appropriately. Production Assistants (2) - competent and confident production assistants (who can drive with their own car would be beneficial) to help us with meeting actors, crew members, filming behind the scenes material and working closely with the director and producer. You will also help with the props for the series. Location Manager - we're looking for someone who can scout locations for us and who is experienced and confident to get us the locations we need.
