The film is an urban vampire thriller but I'm not interested in slapping together another teen movie/hammer house of horror take on it. Think The French Connection meets Blade Runner with vampires. I'm looking to create a grittier realistic take on vampires. The script has been well developed with The Welsh Film Agency under another producer who has had to pull out due to serious illness. We are well into development with finance companies in both the UK and US already in place for the main funding and our 2nd producer has already been talking with distributors with regards to pre-sales. The film will get a world wide theatrical release as soon as we attach a star name. I am looking for someone preferably with a track record and who can get things done. The main responsibility will be to secure development funds of 50-80K to start pre-production ASAP. My first feature Through the Looking Glass won the Best Horror award at the Swansea Bay Film Festival 2007 and is signed to US distributor Wood Entertainment as Sales Agent/Distributor and there is a lot of interest in the film from buyers.
