We are currently looking for an Art Director, to work on a short film, “A Pack of Pain.” The filming will commence on the 14th of March. We will film over the two weekends that follow. We would require you to start from Monday onwards. We need four locations to be dressed, including the main character’s bedroom, which is to be built from scratch within our warehouse. The Art Department will have a small budget to source props and to dress Dante’s room, which needs to look old and damp, like it hasn’t been touched since the 80’s.
The room will need moveable walls to allow us to reach multiple camera angles. We have a professional carpenter to help build the set. We need an Art Director with strong vision to create the film’s atmosphere and look.
The film tells the story of Dante, an Italian Hit man dying from lung cancer, and his crusade of revenge upon a leading tobacco company, who corrupt government officials. The film will be shot in East London, in black and white. There will be lots of actions scenes on rooftops, overlooking breathtaking views of the city of London, with plenty of cigarette smoke in the background.
This is an Independent production. We can offer you travel expenses, food and drink. You will also receive a credit and a copy of the film on DVD upon completion, including an invitation to the screening at The Curzon Cinema in Soho.
If you are interested please contact us on : sophie@dynamind-productions.co.uk
Looking forward to hearing from you
Sophie - Production Manager
