Wanted: Producer for 16mm thriller (no/low budget)

Posted By:  Ian Mansfield  [Click to Contact]
Date: 2004-02-11

A Co-Director team requires a Producer to guide a 16mm film through production. Currently were doing that ourselves, but we would prefer someone who has a passion for it. The project is a great 16 page thriller which will be set on location in and around Edinburgh (one director is based there, the other in London). We shot the last one in Edinburgh where its easier to park vehicles during the week than London (nightmare !!).
Tagline: Tonight’s people will become victims – of there own ACTIONS !
This is our 2nd film project together. The first is currently going through sound dubbing in post-production, but is available to view on DVDr.
We don't mind if you live elsewhere in the UK other than Edinburgh or Scotland. If you have your own transport this would be a huge advantage, especially for long distances.
We’re planning on shooting from the end of April onwards for 4-5 days.
This position would be ideal for someone who wants to produce there 2nd or 3rd short. You must be a proactive person who keeps the co-director team up to date on the progress you’re making. We have raised some funds already ourselves but we will work closely with you to raise further money.
With a covering letter and a C.V. E-mail: ianmansfield@yahoo.com. (Based in London).
F.A.O: Chris Forrest & Ian Mansfield.
For postal applicants send to:
Chris Forrest
16 Cumlodden Avenue
Edinburgh, Scotland
EH12 6DR.
