This may be of help too, you never know:- European funding available for media production projects You've been framed Funding is available from the European Commission for production projects in the areas of fiction/drama, creative documentaries, animation and multimedia. Independent companies whose main activity is audiovisual and/or multimedia production for the European or international markets can apply for Media Plus programme funding. Applications should be supported by evidence that the company has experience of audiovisual production. In total, 17 million is available to finance up to 50 of project costs, or up to 60 for projects highlighting Europe's cultural diversity. For single projects, companies may apply for up to 80,000, depending on the type of project. For slate funding, the maximum amount is 150,000. Deadlines for applications are 15 February 2006 for Media New Talent projects and 31 May 2006 for single projects and slate funding. The programme involves improving vocational training, to ensure the sector has the skills and know how to enable it to compete in the European and international markets. The total amount available for co-financing projects is 8 million, and funds will be awarded to cover up to 50 of project costs. Projects should last up to a year.
