Hi Clair,
I use a combination of "Ulead VideoStudio v10" and "Pinnacle Studio v9.4.3". Both are quite simple to use but functionality of the ULead product is a little light, hence I do the basic nailing together with Ulead and the bells and whistles with Pinnacle.
