'Location London' If you think you can make a short-film in 25 hours, set entirely in London, then come down to the festival at The Movieum, County Hall, next to The London Eye for 2pm and we'll invite you to take part. we're championing London as THE place to shoot and we want filmmakers to use the space in and around The Movieum for their locations (permitted filming areas will be explained on the day). Entry fee is included in the festival pass (£9 for 3-day ticket) and you can come and check out the hugely exciting plans for The Movieum Club - a place where filmmakers can shoot, rehearse, network and screen their movies in a 200 seater screening room! Join now and get the first month free. At Cannes in a Van, we think it's what the British Film Industry needs! The winner will receive free membership to The Movieum Club, free multi-passes to County Hall attractions, subscriptions to MovieScope magazine and a copy of Final Draft. (Further prizes TBC) The brief will be handed out on the day and guest short-film legend Johnnie Oddball will be there to oversee proceedings. Filmmakers will then hand their films in on Monday and there'll be a screening of all 25 Hr Film Challenge films on Tuesday night to close the festival. We'd love to see you all there for what will be the most unique independent British film festival ever seen! (well, almost). If you don't want to take part in the challenge, there are loads of independent films to check out and great exhibitons within The Movieum itself.
