As I started to say in the first post, before being so rudely interrupted, agents and casting people make their money by getting you work--not by picking your pockets. Also, expecially for the women, don't tolerate sexual harrassment. Don't be intimidated by the "you'll never work in this town" ****. It is highly unlikely that some tosser with an office over a fish and chips joint in a back alley is going to have any influence over someone who can legitimately further your career. This is another situation where "bugger off" is absolutely appropriate. I hope this helps.
