How we operate Firstly, we are not a modelling agency; this is a common (and quite easily made) mistake. We are an entertainment directory that specialise in bridging the gap between talented individuals wanting to get into the media/fashion industry and employers looking to recruit talent. We offer work in various sectors ranging from acting, modelling, presenting, promotional work, tv-extra work and reality TV. Our website enables our members to host a portfolio online – this will include their CV, details of previous (relevant) work experience, physical statistics, and personal goals. We operate in a similar way to Monster which is a recruitment site for the professional services sector. 2. What benefits do we offer our members? Zebra offers its members a fully functional online platform from which they can present themselves to potential employers. Through the site members can effectively manage themselves without having to go through a traditional ‘modelling’ or ‘talent’ agency. As a member you can search for jobs, and edit and update your online portfolio as often as you like. You can also use this as a platform to network from and to generate your own contacts in the industry. We currently have over 600 registered employers who regularly post jobs on our site and actively search for their candidates themselves. 3 What benefits do we offer our clients? Zebra offers its clients (potential employers) a fully functional online platform from which they can search for potential candidates for roles they may have available. Clients can look through our member’s profiles and contact individuals directly if they are recruiting for a very specific role or alternatively they can post jobs to our jobs board, allowing members to apply for roles. In order to protect our members we have strict conditions that potential clients (employers) need to meet in order to have access to our site – they must provide to us: • Details of their trading history • 2 professional references • Company registration details • An outline of how and why they did intend to use Zebra’s website SUMMARY I hope this gives everyone a more thorough understanding of our service and what we can offer to our members and clients.
