Hi!
I entered the BBC new talent competition, 'African connection', to create / remix an African track, and have just found out that I've been selected as one of 12 semi finalists to perform live at Maidavale studios on the 30th of September.
So as my track was mainly sample based, I desperately need an African vocalist to sing live on the day, and be available for rehearsals before hand, and to put their unique style and character into the performance.
We'll have live drums, bass and piano, and triggered samples of strings, chanting, but the 'focal' point will be the singer.
Anyone who can fit the bill and be available for rehearsals soon, and the gig on the 30th of September, please contact me ASAP:
