2NV records the independent record label part of the NVA Entertainment Group is giving female vocalists aged 18 to 23yrs old the chance to join a band and the prize is a record deal and management contract. Founded in 2005 2NV records is a young independent record label that has released the much talked about MC Bashy mix cd “UR MUM VOL 1” which is the fasted selling UK grime mix cd in 2005 and the much acclaimed Da Cream “Movin” single which saw for the first time the hottest signed and unsigned music acts collaborating on one record, the track included Nathan, Skinny Man, Keisha White, Bashy, Bruza, Roll Deep,Tynchi Stryder, Suncycle and Asher D amongst many others. The vocalists need to look street, have drive, look good and have good voices, the lucky vocalists will work with the cream of UK and USA producers and writers including Atlanta based Shondrae ‘Bangladesh’ Crawford the producer behind Ciara, Missy Elliot & Ludicrous. Paul Boadi co-founder of 2NV records says “This no x-factor, we are looking for real hungry talent and this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for three young female vocalists to have the chance to fulfill every music fans dream” The auditions take place on Sun 3rd Dec at Pineapple Studios 7 Langley Street London WC1 between 12 and 2.30pm. 2NV records is part of NVA Entertainment Group who’s clients range from music acts such as Usher and Destiny’s Child to England and Chelsea footballer John Terry. NVA negotiated the seven figure book deal with Harper Collins for two books from Terry. The first of which was the best seller ‘My Winning Season’, which was published following Chelsea’s premiership success in May. The second, his autobiography, is set to be published in 2007. Rio Ferdinand is another NVA client, they secured a seven figure book deal with Hodder Headline in October, his autobiography is set to be published after the World Cup. NVA were also behind Jordan’s hugely successful book deal with Blake Publishing and her now infamous appearance on ITV’s ‘I’m a Celebrity’. Her auto-biography ‘Being Jordan’ is still in the top 10 Bestsellers List and they were also behind David Seaman’s recent charity campaign which saw David cut his famous ponytail hair style live on ITV’s “This Morning” in aid of the Bobby Moore Cancer fund, they also secured support and coverage in the UK’s biggest newspaper The Sun. Other NVA clients include Ex-Man Utd striker Andrew Cole (Currently at Man City) and The Ghana FA. In addition to its talent management arm, NVA is also developing a music lifestyle programme with the BBC. NVA have also signed up 3 major lifestyle brands to six figure deals, to work with them to a develop series of youth marketing strategies.
