Dear all, Songwriter/producer required to produce backing tracks for LONDON sketch duo, "The Scarlet Pimps." The pimps have a monthly residence at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden and use original songs in their show. Previously they have written and performed songs about wags, hecklers and cheese (yum) and are in need of a new collaborator to produce and contribute creatively to their material. This is a great opportunity to raise your profile as a producer of good music and put your work in front of a live audience on a regular basis. The demand on you would not be terribly high as it is unlikely we will be hoping to produce more than 4 songs in any given month. However we are keen to find somebody who would stay with us long term, so there is a requirement for that. Depending on your abilities and strengths, we may just send you the words and style required, eg "Hi You, this is a song about a car salesman, and we'd like it in the style a swing band." or we will write the melody initially by ourselves and then come to you to turn it into something wonderful.
