Very experienced and able guitarist/singer/songwriter (32yo, playing 20 years, about 15 professionally off and on) looking for ideally an acoustic bass player, and a percussionist (not full drums) to do acoustic gigs on the circuit. Influences? Hmmm... Tom Waits, John Martyn, Kelly Joe Phelps... all old blues, folk and roots music... with a nice twist... strongly focussed on improvisation. Decent number of original songs and covers, but open to more. Also open to other musicians (harmonica? sax? keys? other vocals a definite advantage, female would be nice - ideally someone who can play a couple of instruments to give variety while keeping numbers to a minimum) - really not looking for a particular thing - but keen to forge a new sound with musicians that play well with me... note - not a covers band... not busking... jazz influenced musicians very welcome...!
