Hi guys,
I have been approached by an Italian based Production company who are in search of feature length scripts. They are experienced, fully funded and have great contacts for distribution once the feature has been completed.
To give you an idea of the level I'm talking about, their current production, which is filming in Rome as I write this, is a horror film and is centered around the numerous catacombs that lie underneath the city and the surrounding area. Think American teenagers on european vcacation organised by their school, rampant hormones, desecration of graves, angry ancient sprits looking for revenge, death, blood and sheer terror...you get the basic idea.
All the cast for this production have been provided by a Los Angeles based talent packager and flown out to Rome for the shoot. Total budget is Euros 5M which for a relatively small production company is simply huge.
They already have a (slightly smaller) budget set aside for their next production and are specifically looking for horror or suspense thriller projects so if you have something hiding in your PC that you want to see put on film during this summer, even if it isn't complete yet, please send me a 1 page synopsis and I'll start the ball rolling on your behalf.
Please do not send full scripts as I simply don't have time to read them. One page is enough at this stage.
FYI. I am not an agent and therefore will not be taking any percentage from you or the production company should your script go into production. I'm an actor who has just found an excellent contact within this production company and I will have to audition for any suitable roles, just like everyone else.
