Hi, Morgan Freeman once said something like “There are many writers that are typists, but very few writers that can truly write.” If you think you can write arresting emotional stories that can captivate the audience but can still be entertaining and universal then read on… We are embarking on a collaborative feature film project, to be shot on high-definition preferably with 35mm lenses. So budget is tight but results, with today’s technology, I believe can be exceptional. This project will start as soon as. The proposal is to shoot a series of short films making up a feature, similarly to Rodrigo García's "Nine Lives" or Stephen King’s “Cats Eyes”. There are a number of directors onboard already and equipment will be supplied by our film company. Initially we will, through the course of meetings, iron out a theme or structure to work with, assign writers and directors into mini-teams etc. There is no money upfront, can pay a percentage of income generated by the feature. So if you want to make a mark now and can write great material and can collaborate within a team then let me know on nonmultiplexcinema*at*btinternet.com. Cheers, Julian (organiser of www.nonmultiplexcinema.com) P.S. I run the Non-Multiplex Cinema Group. Originally set up for outings to watch art house and foreign films in and around London. We have since moved on to producing our own short films and holding free screening events and running acting/directing classes.
