CREATIVE WRITING WORKSHOP
SCRIPTS, CHARACTERS, PLOTS!
An intensive workshop for all levels, from beginners to experienced writers.
Develop traditional script, character, plot, contemporary text, narrative and prose.
Explore different stimulus, and develop skills for editing and re-writing.
The classes are a collection of tasks and exercises to spark ideas, stir the imagination and get the creative juices flowing! You will also gain pointers for getting some of your writing seen.
Led by Kim Charnock, director of Kiss My Face Theatre and dressing-up box films. Kim writes for performance and literary texts. She also runs a Theatre In Education Company based in Leicester named ‘Kiss My Face Theatre’ running workshops in drama, dance, writing and Capoeira. Kim currently leads writing workshops at The Phoenix Arts Centre and lectures in Performing Arts at Leicester College. .
Come and meet like-minded people, have a go at writing even if you’re rusty or never really tried, and expand your skills.
