theatre company Room For Pudding are holding a script reading April 24th 7-9 in the Tristan Bates theatre at The Actors Centre and are still accepting submissions. Scripts will be preferably in 'stage play' format rather than radio play or tv series but can be of any length and genre. Each writer will have a ten minute except presented to an audience of industry professionals by professional actors and will receive feedback from our expert panel as well the opportunity to discuss audience members' reactions. Use this opportunity to try out alternative endings, develop characters, discuss any creative blocks you have with your work and most of all get your work seen and heard. Room For Pudding are essentially hoping to find a piece from this event which they can go on to produce in full using their current artistic director and selecting actors from their core ensemble.
