My name is Andre, and I am an exceptionally capable, creative and vibrant individual. I love working with others and feel that my personality, intellect and attitude to life would make me a great success in any organisation. I have always wanted work in the media, and have spent a great deal of my working and spare time gaining experience and knowledge in this area.Over the past few years I have worked for a telecommunications firm and have learnt a lot about communication, and constantly work to promote a friendly and positive working environment. Although I love working in a team, I also work well as an individual and have excellent self motivational and time management skills.When I moved to England, I took up film making as a hobby, but have now turned this into a career. I recently completed a project which involved making video profiles of Conferencing equipment; the sales team currently uses these to demonstrate our products to business clients. I have also produced several training videos for new employees. In all of the media projects I worked on, I took care of all aspects of pre-production, shooting and post production, as well as the legal elements that are associated with this kind of work.In order to improve on and develop my natural talents in this area, I recently undertook a year long diploma in film and media studies at Westminster college. This enabled me to experience various elements of film production, and learn about different areas of the media. I have worked on numerous studio productions, mainly based on current affairs and popular culture. I now have experience of presenting, organising live broadcasts, pre program research and editing. I am also aware of the legal implications of film and video production, and I always incorporate what I have learnt with extra care into my own projects.I enjoy my current job as I get on very well with the people I work with, and feel that because of the positive working environment, myself and my colleagues thrive both in terms of our working and personal experience. Although I work well in a team, I consider myself to be a competent and self supporting person, and have no problem working as an individual and on my own initiative. I am highly professional and my work is always completed within the time limits permitted and to a high standard.In short, I feel I have the ability, confidence and will power to make a success of any task I take on. |
