A Spotlight registered actor, singer and sometimes writer from St Helens in Merseyside, situated in the north west of England. Before becoming an actor, Phil excelled in the sport of Rugby League where he played for Blackbrook, Lancashire, St Helens and Warrington. Both his Dad, Alan and Uncle, Ken played professionally for St Helens and Warrington Rugby League Clubs. At 19 after suffering an injury during a tackle, where according to onlookers his left leg went one way while his right leg went the other, snapping both ham strings. Phil turned to acting. He has been working in and around music, television and film for 10 years and is a professional singer who can be found performing all over the North West under the stage name PHIL G. With numerous credits in T.V.and film, including work for Granada, Mersey Television and The BBC and gaining small parts in theatrically released movies Phil is an experienced performer who has also worked regularly in regional theatre.
