About:
|
Alex was born in East London, 1979. He originally trained as a classical singer at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, and more recently at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He has exceptional musical skills and is a consummate vocalist in a variety of styles, also including a strong affinity for voiceover work. An extremely versatile actor with a good experience of both classical & contemporary text, he has undergone intensive training for the different mediums of stage and camera. Alex is well suited to all sorts of character work: particularly that which requires animation, authority, eloquence, or a significant emotional ‘range’. Other skills include Martial Arts and Stage Combat, for which he holds a ‘Gold’ BADC award. Recent credits include ‘Audrey II’ in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ at The Gatehouse Theatre (“An outstanding performance” – WHAT’S ON, “A Brilliant visualisation” – BBC LONDON, “A fantastic singer” – THE STAGE, “Cleverly staged and in fine voice” – EVENING STANDARD)
