Chantel Shafie was born to be a star. Her successful modelling and acting career started as the ‘Johnson’s & Johnson’s’ baby when she was just four months old. Continuing into her teens, she appeared in numerous commercials and campaigns, including ‘McDonalds’, ‘Milk’, ‘NutraSweet’ and ‘Comfort Conditioner’, while attending the infamous ‘Sylvia Young Stage School’. This Persian Princess then progressed to become a cyber-star and resident presenter on the UK’s first reality show, ‘The Dolls House’ for Bravo TV, where she lived for a year and a half under the watchful eyes of 10 million online viewers. In a frenzy of media attention, Chantel appeared on ‘Loose Women’, ‘Monday Late Night Live’ with Andrew Neil, ‘Bitz’ and documentaries for Channel 4, Radio 5, and Kiss FM. All the while presenting for ‘Game Girls’, and ‘Bravado’; Bravo TV’s computer game and magazine shows, and guest presenting for ‘The Richard and Judy Show’. This gave Chantel a new platform which propelled her career into presenting Travel and Light Entertainment shows. Her success is no fluke; besides her exquisite and exotic looks, it is her hard work and perseverance that has contributed to her ascent. With a successful commercial modelling career under her belt, she has recently featured in a worldwide ‘French Connection’ campaign. As well as regularly adorning the glossies in the UK and Middle East, Chantel has excellent journalistic talent, having experience with ’Smash Hits’ ‘Big’, and ‘Just Seventeen’ magazines, as well as being involved in PR, events and marketing for London Restaurants. Chantel is also a tremendously versatile and talented actress. She trained at the acclaimed Lee Strasburg Institute (The Method Studio) and Drama Centre London, and is constantly pushing herself in her acting ability, appearing in the ‘Lock Stock’ TV series and more recently in ‘Footballers Wives’, and the latest Bond and Batman films ; ‘Die Another Day’ and ‘Batman Begins’. She has recently presented for the ‘NTL’ channel, a shopping channel dedicated to broadband packages on Channel 666, and ‘Your Destiny TV’, the UK’s first LIVE Psychic Channel, where she hosted her own live daily psychic chat on Sky Channel 694. With hundreds of hours of LIVE TV experience, Chantel is one of TV’s rare assets. With her avid interest in music, design, and travel, fused with her comprehensive knowledge of film and fashion, she is one of light entertainments rising stars! Chantel can currently be seen presenting LIVE on 'The Roulette Channel' sky 274, and ‘Lucky Star TV’, channel 278 a brand new quiz channel in association with the Daily Star, where she anchors the LIVE prime time daily game show. |
