Nicholas is thrilled to have been accepted into the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York to train as an actor. This course will begin in October 2007. Extensive stage training and experience prior to this most recent accolade landed Nicholas the Gerald Pitman Award for 'Best Single Acting Performance' (2004) for his role in Miller's 'A View from the Bridge' where he played tragic-hero Eddie Carbone. Other roles include the part of Parker in short film 'The Decision' by Andrew Pemberton-Fowler (now an executive producer of US hit soap 'Days of our Lives'). Nicholas was delighted to be accepted into the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain some years ago, a company he still supports for its innovative and forward-looking approach to drama training. He remains indebted to those who have instilled in him a love of acting, particularly Giles Robinson who also helped actors Chalie Cox and Jude Law. |
