Hello, my name is Glen Thompsett and you could say I'm a good 'all-rounder'
I started my broadcasting career in radio as a presenter on various commercial radio stations around the country, but I now work as a television presenter for TV Travel Shop, Meridian ITV, Continuity for ITV1& ITV2 and corporate work. I can adapt to any style of work, whether recorded or live from hard news to lifestyle.
Other work has included Sky News, QVC, Screenshop and The History Channel.
Having my own audio suite at home enables me to voice anything at the drop-of-a-hat via ISDN, MP3 etc.With an easy going approach, I like to think I can fit in with most people's wishes and deadlines.
Having introduced the programmes, I'm now in the market to voice your commercials.

This was the voice of LWT, now ITV1. Since 1987 the instantly recognisable, distinctive voice of Glen Thompsett has been working as a live continuity announcer for the high profile ITV company, now with ITV1.
Glen’s presentation style, smooth, warm and friend of the listener, means he is in constant demand for voiceover and presenting work. He frequently presents the news on Sky and Meridian Television in the South East. He was a host for QVC for three years and is one of the main presenters on TV Travel Shop where he has worked since its launch in 1998. Other television work includes Screenshop, The Family Channel, Best Direct and the History Channel. Glen began his television career as a continuity announcer for TVS in Southampton in the early 1980's.
Multi talented Glen is a highly successful radio presenter. He has won two prestigious Sony Awards and has hosted numerous radio programmes for Severn Sound, GWR, Mercia Sound and Invicta Radio, where he presented for four years.
Glen is often booked to record promos, corporates and commercials. Clients include ITV1 & ITV2 - LWT- Sky News- GMTV- TV Travel Shop- QVC- Meridian ITV1- History Channel- Screenshop-Sky Travel Shop- Orange- Post Office- and he presented the Eastern Daily Press Awards.
